Read the methodologyExpected Points Added, or EPA, estimates how a play changes a team's expected scoring position. Aggregating that value can show which players have produced or prevented value in their recorded opportunities, while filters for season, team, position, and playing time help make comparisons more meaningful.
EPA is sensitive to role, teammates, opponents, and sample size. It is useful evidence, not a complete measure of talent or a direct fantasy-point projection. Read it alongside usage, injuries, and the team environment before drawing a conclusion about a player.
